The Agentic Operating System for Advisory Operations

AI Workflow Automation

Invent Workflows puts an agent on every workflow. Agents pre-fill, validate, reconcile, read documents, and resolve exceptions before a human ever touches the work — under your firm's existing approval chain, audit trail, and policy controls.

PILLAR 01 / AGENTIC EXECUTION

Put an agent on every workflow — not just a notification.

Agents pre-fill, validate, reconcile, read documents, and resolve exceptions before a human ever touches the work. Same approval chain. Same audit trail. Vastly more leverage per FTE.

  • Let agents do the work, not just route it.
  • Pre-fill, validate, and reconcile across systems before a human ever touches it.
  • Read documents, statements, and emails — turn them into structured workflow inputs.
  • Resolve exceptions in plain English; escalate only what truly needs a human.
  • Govern every agent action with the same approval chains, audit trail, and policy controls as human steps.
Lead pillar

Invent turns workflow software from "orchestrating your people" into "doing the work, with your people in the loop where it matters." Same governance. Same audit trail. Dramatically more leverage per advisor and per ops FTE.

Capabilities

Nine capabilities that make agentic execution real — not just a chatbot bolted onto a workflow engine.

Autonomous form completion
Agents pull from CRM, custodian APIs, and prior client records to pre-populate every form field.
Document intelligence
Statements, IDs, KYC packets, signed PDFs read, parsed, and turned into structured data.
NIGO resolution, not just detection
Agents propose the fix, draft the client follow-up, and wait for approval — instead of just flagging the problem.
Conversational workflow initiation
Natural-language triggering of complex multi-step processes. Describe the outcome; the workflow runs.
Cross-system reconciliation
Continuous checks that CRM, custodian, portfolio management, and document systems agree.
Exception triage and routing
Classify exceptions, propose policy-grounded resolutions, and escalate only the ambiguous cases.
Policy-aware reasoning
Agents operate inside firm approval rules, compliance constraints, and fiduciary obligations — not around them.
Workflow authoring copilot
Describe the outcome; the agent drafts the steps, integrations, and approval chain for you to refine.
Audit narrative generation
Every agent action logged in plain language alongside the structured event log — readable by examiners, not just engineers.
PILLAR 02 / ERROR PREVENTION

Kill NIGOs at the source.

Every NIGO is a tax on your firm — lost revenue, wasted advisor hours, and a hit to client confidence. Invent validates every form against live custodian and CRM data, so mistakes never make it past submission.

  • Validate data against real systems — live custodian and CRM, not stale spreadsheets.
  • Stop NIGOs (Not In Good Order) at the source — before they reach the custodian.
  • Catch field-level errors, signature issues, and missing documents pre-submission.
  • Turn every blocked submission into a guided fix, not a rework cycle.
Why it matters

A NIGO isn't a clerical hiccup. It's days of cycle time, an unhappy client, and a re-papered case. Invent catches it before submission — so the cost never happens.

PILLAR 03 / PROCESS CONTROL

Compliance at the speed of business.

Governance shouldn't slow growth. Invent enforces approval chains, data routing, and policy controls invisibly — so the firm runs faster, scales cleaner, and walks into every audit ready.

  • Define who does what, when, and how.
  • Set approval chains that make sense for the firm.
  • Control data routing between systems with policy, not glue code.
  • Maintain compliance without slowing down the business.
Built for the regulated firm

Approval chains, data routing, retention, and audit trails are not features bolted onto a workflow engine. They are the engine. Invent treats compliance as a first-class runtime concern.

Firm-Level Outcomes

The metrics that move when you run on Invent.

Throughput, capacity, audit posture, and growth math — the four lines that show up on the operating review.

Capacity Unlock

Same team, far more output.

Advisor Capacity

Always exam-ready, by default.

Audit Posture

Always exam-ready, by default.

Growth Math

Scale AUM without scaling headcount.

Governance & Audit

Every agent action runs inside the same controls as your people.

Agentic execution is only useful if your CCO sleeps at night. Invent treats every agent step as a first-class governed action — same approval chain, same retention, same audit trail.

  • policy
Policy-grounded reasoning Agents operate inside firm approval rules, compliance constraints, and fiduciary obligations — encoded, not aspirational.
  • approvals
Human-in-the-loop where it matters Configurable approval chains determine which agent actions execute, which require sign-off, and which always escalate.
  • audit
Plain-language audit narrative Every action logged in plain English alongside the structured event log. Readable by examiners, not just engineers.
  • retention
Retention & data routing controls Configurable per workflow, per data class, per jurisdiction. Compliance as runtime configuration, not custom code.
  • security
SOC 2 Type II, encrypted in transit and at rest Role-based access, scoped credentials per integration, full tenant isolation.

What an audit trail entry looks like

Every agent action emits both a structured event and a plain-language narrative. Examiners can read it without a developer in the room.

FAQ

Invent is SOC 2 Type II, with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, scoped credentials per integration, and full per-tenant isolation. Data routing is configurable per workflow and per data class — so PII, custodian data, and document content can be governed independently. Regional residency is available for firms with that requirement.
Out of the box: Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing on the custodian side; Salesforce, Redtail, and Wealthbox on the CRM side; Orion, Addepar, and Black Diamond on the portfolio management side; plus DocuSign and the major document repositories. Anything not on the list is reachable via the integration framework — most new connectors ship in days, not quarters.
Most firms have their first agent-driven workflow live in two to four weeks — typically account opening, account transfer, or money movement. The pattern is to land one high-volume workflow first, prove the NIGO and capacity numbers against your own baseline, then expand. We do not run six-month implementation projects.
No. Invent sits across your existing stack — custodian, CRM, portfolio management, document systems — and reconciles between them. It is custodian-agnostic by design. If you ever switch custodians, the workflows survive the migration.
The honest answer: it depends on where your NIGOs come from today. Firms that pilot one workflow typically see the bulk of pre-submission errors caught at the source within the first 60 days, because validation now runs against live custodian and CRM data instead of a stale form template. We will baseline your current NIGO rate during the pilot and report against it — no vanity numbers.
Every agent action runs inside the same approval chain as a human action. You configure which actions execute autonomously, which require sign-off, and which always escalate — by workflow, by step, by data class. Each action is logged with both a structured event and a plain-language narrative your CCO and examiners can read directly.
Invent is priced as a platform subscription scaled to firm size, with no per-NIGO or per-form metering. We do not charge you more when you process more — the whole point is capacity unlock. Pricing scales with firm size and active workflows; we will quote against your specifics on the first call.
A pilot is one workflow, one custodian path, against your real baseline. We define success criteria up front — typically NIGO rate, cycle time, and ops hours per case. You see the numbers in 30 to 60 days. If the pilot does not move the metrics, you do not roll forward. No long-term commitment to start.
